Cinderella: Character Study

Pick a character apart from Cinderella and make up a speech or scene from their point of view. In stories (as in life), different people experience the same thing in very different ways. We hear the story from Cinderella’s point of view, so maybe another character would give us another side of the story. Think about Cinderella’s Ugly Sisters, or Stepmother. Are they treated fairly in the story? What would they say if they were the ‘stars’ of the story. Is Cinderella always as good as she seems in the story? Or the Fairy Godmother – maybe she was in the middle of something when Cinders called her. Maybe she’s not thrilled to be there. Use your imagination and have fun!! If you have siblings, you could make up a scene or a sketch.
